Description and Requirements

The Manager, Information Systems (Applications and Systems) will lead a team of technical specialists and generalists responsible for providing production and project support for mission critical enterprise applications. This individual will play a key role in managing a large portfolio of cross functional initiatives in conjunction with other IT management staff

•Partner with Application support staff to assign and prioritize work comprised of support requests, change requests, projects and system upgrades.
•Regularly monitor and review staff’s performance using standard feedback and coaching methods. Create development and training plans to enhance staff skills.
•Perform ongoing employee and task oversight to ensure the highest levels of customer support are adhered to and that issues and projects are addressed within the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
•Ensure that escalated issues are handled appropriately.
•Responsible for insuring all aspects of departmental Change Control policies are adhered to at all times by performing regular audits and oversight of staff compliance.
•Utilize proven project management skills to lead and manage cross team activities for larger projects. Responsible for project status communications to project team and senior management as well as related documentation.
•Coordinate project related activities, including planning time lines, scheduling meetings, coordinating resources, and tracking progress.
•Review and monitor existing team and departmental processes and policies and collaborate with team to suggest areas of improvement

-PMP, ITIL or other related technology or process improvement certifications

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $108,300 - $156,485

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $95,300 - $141,780

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
