Description and Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Cyber Security Associate monitors all security data coming into the Security Operations Center.
The Cyber Security Associate will identify and respond to alerts, triage alerts for escalation to senior security engineers.
The Cyber Security Associate is responsible for submitting incident tickets into Service Now for tracking of closed incidents and escalation of incidents that take a senior security engineer to close.
The Cyber Security Associate is responsible to master related training provided to enhance their job performance and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate is self-initiating, self-moderating, pays attention to social and individual verbal and non-verbal cues.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
The Cyber Security Associate is an entry level position requiring no prior work experience.
Candidate must have good problem-solving skills, ability to learn and apply new skills.
Candidate should have an aptitude for information technology, and a willingness to learn.
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $64,792 - $87,360
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $56,306 - $83,200
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
