Position Summary: The Talent Advisor (TA) serves as the talent acquisition leader for the business to which he/she is aligned. Functioning as a strategic thought leader and recruitment subject matter expert, the TA is responsible for delivering acquired talent to the business by focusing on six key areas: • Market expertise and talent planning • Business acumen and client relationship management • Talent engagement • Talent assessment • Offer negotiations and candidate closing • Data/analytics and metrics
Duties & Responsibilities: Build, launch and oversee the talent acquisition strategy for his/her respective business area Develop deep market insights necessary to inform business decisions dependent upon the acquisition of talent, including labor market insights such as supply and demand, compensation trends, and barriers to recruitment Participate in and contribute to workforce planning initiatives within their respective business area, informed by market insights and a thorough understanding of business strategy, operations and challenges/opportunities Serve as point with the business for all talent acquisition-related matters and communication. Ensure business leaders and HRBPs are appropriately informed and up to date on key requisitions, initiatives and areas of progression In partnership with their Sourcing Specialist, leverage employment value proposition and branding to drive proactive prospect engagement. Ensure employment brand is visible and elevated within the relevant talent communities being targeted Promote/provide a superior candidate experience regardless of hiring outcome Ensure effective talent assessment strategies and interviewing techniques are deployed and followed (i.e., Interview for Trailblazers/BBI, technical assessments and case studies where appropriate, etc.) Ensure the timely fulfillment of all BU-related open requisitions, including Leadership recruitment Monitor individual and team performance and calibrate accordingly to ensure targeted metrics are achieved Leverage technology and data analytics to identify areas of opportunity for improved performance and predictive outcomes Ensure team operates in a compliant manner and that all required processes and protocols are followed Serve as a member of the TA Leadership team Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS from an accredited institution Prior Corporate Talent Acquisition experience Prior experience leading or managing Talent Acquisition resources Strong strategic thinking with the ability to link TA-related strategies and initiatives to business results and outcomes Ability to lead from the front and by example Demonstrated innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills Client and candidate focused Leverages technology effectively to draw critical insights necessary for informed decision making Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working for a search firm/agency Knowledge of the healthcare industry Recruiting experience within a government contractor environment Resiliency Must work with a sense of urgency Strong emotional intelligence and empathy Data and analytics driven
Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $98,400 - $142,205 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $84,400 - $125,545 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
