Description and Requirements

The Healthfirst Clinical Quality (“CQ”) department works closely with providers, vendors, and other internal medical departments to help monitor and improve members’ quality of care especially through HEDIS, QARR, and Medicare Advantage Star initiatives. The Clinical Analyst, CQ is responsible for supporting existing processes related to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. This includes performing various ad-hoc analyses which entails identifying inefficiencies and issues around the capturing and processing of company-wide data related to the quality of care our members receive. The Clinical Analyst, CQ will focus on the integration of data reported directly from sites, tracking and maintaining vendor submitted data sources, and validating the accuracy of third party software.
Duties and Responsibilities: Tracks, trends, and proactively identifies issues with various data feeds  Conducts ad-hoc analysis pertaining to member care quality Supports others in Clinical Quality and interdepartmental strategies and projects Performs quality assurance for various projects Provides feedback on issues and suggests improvements for existing processes Additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree. VB/Scripting knowledge. Experience with the ViPS/GDIT MedMeasures, MedCapture and MedMeasurePlus software suite. Prior experience with HEDIS reporting. Proficient in MS Access and Excel. Intermediate to advanced knowledge SAS or SQL programming languages, MS Access, and Excel skills. Experience in the healthcare industry and/or analytics reporting.
Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $65,600 - $94,775 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $58,300 - $86,700 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
