As a Hyphen Engineering Manager, you will lead the team to design, develop and implement modern full stack applications. As a leader, you will help deliver great products and mentor other team members in the process. You will collaborate with other engineering teams, and work autonomously to maintain existing applications and participate in new initiatives. You will work with other engineers to identify opportunities to use new technologies within the enterprise and improve the resiliency of our existing services used by our customers. Tech Stack: Technologies used by the team include, but are not limited to • ReactJS/Typescript • Kotlin/Quarkus • Python • Kafka • Glue

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to build highly scalable solutions
• As a leader, you will help Hyphen’s products and mentor other team members in the process
• You will collaborate with other engineering teams, and work autonomously to maintain existing products and participate in new initiatives
• Work with engineers and product owners across teams to plan new projects and identify new initiatives
• Work with the team to create proof of concepts for new technologies we want to adopt
• Individually contribute to the team’s projects
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands on manager passionate about architecting highly scalable and user-friendly solution
• 1+ year of managing teams
• 3+ years of ReactJS Experience
• 1+ years of experience with designing, building and managing REST APIs
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously and ability to handle challenging stakeholders
• Experience in developing architectural models that will operate at large scale and high performance, and advise on how to run these architectural models
• Experience with track record of analysis, design, Prototype, develop, deploy data, analytics or web solutions
• Partner closely with stakeholders and counterparts to understand business challenge and develop appropriate solutions
• A strategic mindset with focus on execution, with emphasis on developing talent

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience
• FHIR experience

Hiring Range*:

• Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $114,000 - $164,730

• All Other Locations (within approved locations): $97,800 - $145,520

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
