Description and Requirements
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and internal/external project resources.
- Prioritizes and drives the implementation of projects in accordance with the HR Operating Plan and aligned to strategic priorities
- Develops, in partnership with HR leadership and project leads appropriate measures to define progress and success; and establishes ongoing reporting requirements and key performance indicators
- Guides cross functional team members from implementation to execution phases and troubleshoots complex issues.
- Works closely with project team members, subject matter experts, business counterparts, and leadership to ensure timely status reporting and issue resolution.
- Provides consistent and clear communications between all project stakeholders and reports on progress to the HR leadership team.
- Manages all external vendor relationships for the HR department and tracks, measures and evaluates vendor performance
- Assesses department-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring and makes appropriate recommendations for action
- Oversees and monitors HR departmental budget and participates in quarterly/annual budget planning and forecasting meetings on behalf of leadership
- Supports organizational changes and communicates to the team
- Cultivates an environment built on trust, transparency, and information sharing
- Promotes cross-enterprise collaboration and works with other leaders to determine common goals to advance strategic priorities.
- Works across the enterprise to improve operational efficiencies
- Ensures the team delivers on short-term priorities aligned to long-term goals
- Helps employees understand their contribution to the team and enterprise
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in project management with a strong track record for on-time and on-budget performance while leading complex projects
- Advanced knowledge of productivity and project management tools such as Smartsheet
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma or Lean
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
