Description and Requirements
- Oversees the design and construction of all community-based facilities for HFMS and its related entities.
- Oversees the ongoing maintenance and support of operations at all community based HFMS Facilities.
- Readily identify issues and problems and determine best practice solutions and implementation methods
- Analyze problems that are moderately complex and use judgement to either resolve directly or make recommendations to supervisor when overly complex or costly
- Work and act autonomously in identifying priorities and tasks
- Exercise judgment in accordance with policies, procedures and techniques
- Perform all the standard work within the function including but not limited to on-the spot cleaning, repairs, and upkeep
- Discuss and solve complex matters with architects, engineers, construction trade members and superintendents.
- Review output as necessary with other stakeholders such as a supervisor, architect or licensed engineer
- Lead work teams such as vendors and IT staff to accomplish objectives
- Train entry level co‐workers and provide general guidance and direction
- Coordinate all cleaning, repairs and upkeep of all field office facilities
- Supervise planning and construction of present and future office space
- Manage office seating, fixtures, equipment and layout
- Collaborate and coordinate external contractors to build new space or modify existing space
- Communicate fire evacuation procedures in case of emergency
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED accredited school
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail systems.
- The position requires practical working knowledge of a technical and mechanical systems within an office and or retail space environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations i.e., OSHA and Fire Department.
- Knowledge of office equipment and facility maintenance.
- Previous office maintenance experience
- Working experience supervising and providing direction to vendors, contractors, equipment installers, and staff to ensure completion of projects
- Experience as a Facilities Manager of an equivalent sized single tenant building
- Ability to respond to incidents on a 24/7 basis either telephonically or in person.
Preffered Qualifications:
- Associates degree or other technical or specialized skill training or certification in related field
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $100,900 - $145,775
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $86,500 - $128,690
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
