Description and Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Check claims and or service form statuses using Healthfirst systems; retrieve and store documents from document imaging system as needed
- Responsible for handling departmental correspondence/mail
- Scan & document all incoming correspondence into the internal document imaging system
- Retrieve all faxed and correspondence through RightFax and forward to the designated person(s)
- File documents when applicable. Maintain a record of work completed on a daily basis.
- Generate overpayment demand letters within established time frames.
- Provide feedback to management regarding any issues or repetitive errors that may be encountered during the overpayment recovery claim adjustment process.
- Track & report inventory of departmental materials and supplies
- Additional duties as assigned such as, but not limited to: data entry, sorting and answering emails, and operating office machinery as assigned by Management
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma from an accredited institution
- Experience working with email and Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited institution
- Previous faxing, scanning and data entry experience

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $34,403 - $43,680
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $32,802 - $41,600
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
