Description and Requirements
Assists in implementation of companywide compliance initiatives, policies and procedures such as Conflict of Interest, Vendor Compliance Program, Compliance Training and Compliance Program Effectiveness. Utilize project management skills to assess compliance program risks, facilitate and monitor task completion, and ensure projects achieve desired compliance program objectives. Communicates compliance requirements to business teams. Requests Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as appropriate and ensures they are fully implemented to support ongoing compliance and improvement opportunities based on industry best practices. Creates detailed reports that inform management of Compliance deficiencies identified in departmental processes during compliance monitoring and CAP testing activities. Supports CAP related activities in gathering evidence of compliance and completes evidentiary review forms prior to closing out. Proactively cultivates and maintains strong, positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to members, medical staff, employees, integrity issues, audits and as appropriate, other information. Follows established and newly implemented changes in departmental policy as well as Federal and State government requirements. Additional duties as assigned.
Intermediate and/or advance Microsoft Software Knowledge (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Detail Oriented- Ability to analyze and understand data - Experience in one or more subjects related to Compliance Program delivery; healthcare experience a plus- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Programs- Proficient in identifying Regulatory Deficiencies and Opportunities for Process Improvement-
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $76,000 - $109,820
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $67,600 - $100,555
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
