Description and Requirements
- Conduct ongoing space utilization assessment to identify efficient ways to improve utilization
- Manage planning and procurement of capital expenditures and projects – including business case development, vendor sourcing, selection, negotiation, and management processes
- Evaluate and maintain contracts for facility related 3rd party services and contractors responsible for maintenance of facility and assets.
- Hands-on oversight of all Facilities & Administration staff in the New York and Florida offices.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of facility equipment by directing, developing and managing strategic plans for the sub-entity to ensure the facilities are well maintained, up to code, fully secured, and that office services are implemented in a timely manner
- Oversee and/or supervise the construction management of new sites or capital improvements.
- Direct, develop, and manage strategic plans for long term facility planning in conjunction with short term space; including site selection, property/lease purchase negotiations, and building construction
- Coordinate maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior of the property
- Supervise and manage a large team
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or GED from an accredited institution
- Management experience in Real Estate Acquisition, Lease Negotiation, Lease Administration, Facilities and Administration role.
- Experience developing and implementing strategies for operations improvement, cost reduction and overall efficiencies.
- Experience managing budget and allocating resources.
- Experience designing and building a quality assurance team with on-going development of leadership competency.
- Experience communicating and influencing impact and progress to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in health care industry or other related business sector with focus on compliance and internal audit processes, learning/training strategy development, or operations.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices and market impact.
- Experience leading large scale transformational projects for an operations environment.
Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Audit for full compliance with all applicable safety regulations, workspace safety and inspection programs
- Conduct ongoing reviews of facilities, identifying issues, diagnosing problems, and determine corrective action plans.
- Oversee development and delivery organizational safety policies, programs, and procedures.

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $168,900 - $258,400
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $168,900 - $258,400
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
